Our oldest daughter has Down Syndrome, vomiting freaks her out and she gets the added bonus of dehydrating in no time flat. So vomit=hospital stay for her.
Hope the little guy is happy and healthy again!Brightonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13222369768978225710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11456072.post-1142707739113659232006-03-18T10:48:00.000-08:002006-03-18T10:48:00.000-08:00It is scaring, you just wish they could explain ev...It is scaring, you just wish they could explain everything to you, huh? One Christmas season we headed in center city Philadelphia to take in the site and stopped in Burger King to get lunch (Morgan was about 2). We had my brother in law with us, I think he was a teenager then. We were all dressed up and Morgan turned and threw up all over me, smelled like sour milk. We had to end the day and drive home with the window down. It was cold and I think Christian was sure he never wanted kids! (he now has two!) Now we can laugh about it!Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06923292386860425185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11456072.post-1142638884849538042006-03-17T15:41:00.000-08:002006-03-17T15:41:00.000-08:00This is my first visit to your blog. It was first thing in the morning.
Since it started before I left for work I was able to stay home and take him to the dr. He threw up in the car, the dr. office waiting room and the exam room.
It was awful! The only good thing was, I didn't have to try to explain to the dr what was wrong!
He got sick every about every half hour for about 6 hours.
By bedtime he was back to himself as if nothing had happened!chesneygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01277804935625220924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11456072.post-1142571555137868082006-03-16T20:59:00.000-08:002006-03-16T20:59:00.000-08:00thank-you ladies for your comments and words of en...thank-you ladies for your comments and words of encouragement! our little man is still doing fine. it's like it left just as fast as it came. that was some stomach bug! yes, very scary for him and me. but, thanks again i really appreciate your concern!! -taratarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14269069854336781917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11456072.post-1142565220246820792006-03-16T19:13:00.000-08:002006-03-16T19:13:00.000-08:00When my son was born he seemd to catch everything ...When my son was born he seemd to catch everything that came along. When he was 2 months old, my husband and I got the flu and then my son got it. It was awful, we were checking his temp all day an when it spiked to 102 we took him to the emergency room (since it seems like it's always at night when they do this) and when we got there they checked him at 103.5. They had to check him for menegitis. It was awful watching him in the hostpital for those two days.

I'm sorry that you had to go through that when you wern't even at home. We thought that he was all better so we decided it would be ok to get him out. So we went to Wal-Mart and he did the same thing, but in the baby section. It was not very fun. I hate it when they get sick...it can be pretty scary...especially when they can't tell you what is wrong. Hope he is feeling better now!!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07357955973624877663noreply@blogger.com
