it's 12:40 am sunday here, and since i'm up... i thought i'd leave an update from our house to yours! greyson is having a really tough time with teething again. poor button. it took forever for his bottom two teeth to pop through. now here we go again with the top ones! his little gums are so puffy and swollen. actually he does pretty well during the day, it's just the nights when the pain comes and goes. on another note he is amazing us everyday with his speech! he is just days away from 13 months, and is saying or repeating so many words. some of the ones that come to mind are: mama, dada, dog, bye-bye, dora, blues clues, banana, pop-pop, mom-mom, mail, hello, baby, ball, uh-oh, hot, no-no, meow-meow, boots, & backpack. He has also said the words: socks, stop, up, and tree once. his newest one came just this morning, as he was playing with my watch. jim told him the word and told him what it said, greyson repeated "tick-tock"!! last week at our one year well baby check, dr. alvarodo told us that he was speaking on an eighteen month old level. we were overjoyed with the news!
we had an exciting night, as we took greyson to the circus for the first time. i will post some pictures later. he really enjoyed the animals, lights, and music. oh yeah -we definitely have a dancer on our hands! ; )
we are hoping to wake-up to some snow tomorrow morning, they are calling for several inches here! gresyon will finally get to use his snowsuit and sled!!
so i'm off to bed, but i'll leave you with a recipe i made earlier this week. it's the best rice pudding i've had in a long time! i hope you will try and enjoy it too!
