it's a GIRL!!!!!

It’s official we will welcome a baby girl to be named Ava Luciana in five short months. She will be called Luciana, honoring my husband’s Italian roots.
It is still sinking in. I still can’t believe i’m able to type these words "it’s a girl." I believe there are some things that happen in this lifetime that you truly feel blessed beyond measure. Having a loving husband is at the top. Having a healthy, happy little boy is another. Having a wonderful family and a supportive group of friends is the icing. Now, knowing that we will be adding a precious pink bundle in five months has left me speechless. Sometimes I really wonder, what did I do to deserve this happiness? "For this child I have prayed" I Samuel 1:27

My mom went to the appointment with Jim and I today. I was so glad she was there to share and be apart of our exciting news. So glad she was able to capture such emotion in pictures for us. Thank-you mom! In these pictures we are looking straight ahead because the sonogram images are being displayed on a giant television monitor. It was amazing! And the best part is we get to see our sweet girl again in three weeks for her 20 week measurements

If you could please keep our family in your prayers. Jim did receive the official letter yesterday, at the end of April United Airlines will be furloughing around 200 more pilots. He did not make the cut this time. With this upcoming job loss we are facing the possibility of a move, maybe even before the baby. It is a lot to think about. But, I am excited to see what God has in store for our family next.
The good news today was very needed and welcomed. "So I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you." Joshua 1:5

We are so excited for you guys! Luciana will be such a blessing and wonderful addition to your family. Sophia can't wait to have a new bff across the street.

We will be praying that Jim finds a job soon and ideally one close to Salisbury.

Clearly, I ridulously far behind on reading blogs!!! I will be praying for you guys and the job situation. We have been there. We made a big transition about this time last year! The Lord will not give you more than you can handle and He never does anything without purpose. it is so hard living in the moment some times, but so worthwhile to look back and see God's plans fulfilled in your life! On a lighter not! I LOVE the pics! How sweet that you have that moment caught in time! Your camera is awesome!
